UEFA announced today that it has reached an exclusive agreement with Charlton Ltd for the pay and free-to-air broadcast rights to all 31 UEFA EURO 2012 matches in Israel.
According to the deal with UEFA, the Tel Aviv-based media company will ensure live coverage of a minimum of 19 of the 31 matches on free-to-air television. Charlton will complement its coverage of UEFA EURO 2012 across its pay channels with a blend of dedicated magazine programmes and daily highlights shows, as well as offering comprehensive internet and mobile services on a live and on-demand basis.
"We're delighted to extend our partnership with Charlton Ltd on the UEFA European Championship after our first successful collaboration for UEFA EURO 2008," said UEFA. "This is great news for football fans in Israel, as they will enjoy a unique viewing experience with in-depth and extensive coverage of the tournament."
