Nicolas Ouédec has cancelled his contract with RAA Louviéroise.
Frenchman Nicolas Ouédec has reached an agreement with Belgian club RAA Louviéroise over the immediate cancellation of his contract.
'End the contract right away'
"The player and the club decided to end the contract right away," said Roland Louf, a director of Louvièroise. "Legally, the contract has been stopped at the end of January with mutual agreement and Nicolas will receive from us an international certificate of transfer if he wants to join another club this year, out of Belgium."
'Take a break'
Ouédec was under contract with Louvièreoise until June 2003. His agent, Christophe Mayol, said: "Everything is in order as far as the papers are concerned. The reason Nicolas wants to end the contract with Louvièroise is personal - there is no sporting reason. He has decided to take a break till the end of February. If he wants to play, he will be able to find a club very quickly. In France or Spain, for instance, there is no doubt about that."
Ouédec was top scorer in Le Championnat in 1994 and played seven times for France, scoring once. For Louvièroise, he only played eleven games, scoring three goals.
