AS Roma have signed Belgian international Radja Nainggolan on loan from Cagliari Calcio until the end of the season, with an option to make the deal permanent in the summer.

Capped four times, the 25-year-old midfielder came to Italy in 2005 to play for Piacenza Calcio. He then moved to Cagliari in 2010, scoring seven goals in 131 Serie A games for the Sardinian club, including two in 17 outings this term. Roma lie second in Serie A, eight points adrift of Juventus.
