Oleg Romantsev has signed a permanent three-year deal with Russian Premier League side FC Saturn Ramenskoye.
FC Saturn Ramenskoye coach Oleg Romantsev has signed a permanent three-year contract with the Moscow club, which will come into effect on 1 January next year.
The former Russia coach was initially appointed on a temporary basis until the end of the Russian Premier League season following the dismissal of Vitaliy Shevchenko in late September. Despite his substantial experience, Romanstev was not an instant success at Saturn as the club lost four out of five league games under his guidance, finishing in seventh place in the 16-team Russian Premier League.
"I had talks with the board a week ago and we discussed the terms of my contract," Romantsev said. "It was only necessary to sign the contract. I'll do my best to achieve success at the club. The plans of the Saturn board match my own principles and intentions."
