French extravagance
Jon French scored the first of his double on 13 minutes with a delightful chip from the edge of the penalty area and further goals from Ade Akinfenwa, Jamie Jenkins, Jamie Moralee and substitute Nicky Burke completed the victory. In the day's other game Rhyl FC moved up to fourth with a 3-0 win against Port Talbot Town FC.

Evans opener
Bangor City FC were pegged back in their bid to close on the leaders on Friday night when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Caersws FC, for whom Graham Evans scored the opening goal. A late equaliser rescued a point for Bangor, who despite being 13 points clear of fourth-placed Aberystwyth Town FC, now sit marooned in third position.

Perfect ten
Cwmbran Town FC warmed up for their Welsh Cup semi-final with Ton Pentre AFC by defeating Carmarthen Town AFC 4-0 at Richmond Park. The Crows stretched their unbeaten run to ten games with goals from Gareth Wharton, Chris Summers, Adam Moore and Mike Dunne.

Honours even
Elsewhere, Oswestry Town FC and Welshpool Town AFC drew 1-1 after Steve Rogers found a quick reply to Welshpool's early opener and Afan Lido FC held Aberystwyth to a goalless draw at Park Avenue. In the evening's other game, a solitary Robbie Charters goal on 68 minutes was enough for Connah's Quay Nomads FC to beat Newtown AFC.
