Moshe Zuares has been elected unanimously as the new president of the Israel Football Association.
Born in 1972 in Petah Tikva, Zuares played in Maccabi Petah Tikva’s youth teams. He would also serve as chairman of the club, and went on to found his own computer import company.
"It is a big challenge and a privilege,” said Zuares, “to try and develop Israeli football."
"I am a big believer in the country’s football," he added. "With positive and creative thinking, we will bring it to a positive place."
