Rabotnicki take a chance on Jovanovski

Gjore Jovanovski has taken over from Mirsad Jonuz as coach of Macedonian club FK Rabotnicki.

Former national coach Gjore Jovanovski has taken over from Mirsad Jonuz as coach of FK Rabotnicki.

Friendly terms
The 47-year-old former coach of the F.Y.R. Macedonia national side has stepped in at the Skopje club following the departure of Jonuz. Jovanovski's predecessor parted company with the club on friendly terms after he led them to a fourth-placed finish, just missing out on a berth in European competition next term.

Rabotnicki plans
While Jonuz has applied for a job with the F.Y.R. Macedonia Under-21 squad, Jovanovski is preparing to start his new job on Wednesday. "Rabotnicki have a good, talented and young team," he said. "I hope that in the next season we can reach one of the places to participate in European competition."

Coaching credentials
Jovanovski has had plenty of experience as a coach, having been in charge of Skopje clubs FK Vardar and FK Sloga Jugomagnat. He also spent some time in Turkey where he was in charge of Samsunspor. He has signed a three-year contract with Rabotnicki.
