Servet Yardımcı studied economics at London Metropolitan University and is currently the chairman of Yardımcı Corporation, a company whose main field of activities are shipbuilding and ship ownership.
He played football at amateur level, and returned to the game as a football executive after becoming a board member at Turkish club Çaykur Rizespor AŞ. Elected as a member of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) executive committee for the first time in 2008, Yardımcı has been the TFF first vice-president since February 2012.
He has also been responsible for conducting TFF’s affairs with FIFA, UEFA and other associations in recent years. He was elected to the UEFA Executive Committee at the Helsinki Congress in April 2017.
