UEFA to host 2nd edition of the UEFA Convention on the Future of European Football

The UEFA-led consultation process with football stakeholders continues this week in Nyon.

UEFA and representative organisations of major European football stakeholders (national associations, leagues, clubs, players, fans, coaches, agents, media and commercial partners) will gather at UEFA on 9-10 November for the second Convention on the Future of European Football. It follows the successful first meeting of the Convention held in September 2021.

This year's programme features working sessions on competitiveness, governance and women's football. Each working session will be moderated by an independent expert and comprise a proportional representation of the major stakeholder groups.

The European Commission, the European Parliament and the Council of Europe have all supported the Convention as an inclusive and representative forum uniting Europe's football community where issues facing the game are addressed in a spirit of respect, exchange and cooperation.

UEFA looks forward to working with all stakeholders and our European partners in our quest to build a sustainable future for football that benefits everyone.
