Georgian attacking midfield player Bakhva Ambidze has joined AEL Limassol from FC Sioni Bolnisi.

'A very good offer'
Ambidze has signed a six-month deal with the Cypriot club with the option of a 12-month extension. "AEL gave me a very good offer, so I agreed to move," said Ambidze.

Much experience
The 30-year-old Ambidze impressed AEL coach Andreas Michaelides with two goals in a friendly match. He has played in Georgia, Russia and Israel and has 138 career goals to his name.
