Wolverhampton Wanderers FC have installed assistant coach Terry Connor as their manager until the end of the season after Mick McCarthy's departure on 13 February.
Wolves dismissed McCarthy after a poor run of form left them in the Premier League's bottom three. The 49-year-old Connor, who has been at the club since 1999, has 13 games to save the Black Country team from relegation, starting on Saturday at Newcastle United FC.
