Miroslav Savic has swapped the Greek top flight for the Yugoslavian one after joining FK Obilic on an 18-month contract from Paniliakos on Monday.
Push for honours
The 29-year-old defender, who played for Obilic between 1996 and 2000, will boost the club's push for honours this term. Obilic are third in the Prva Savezna Liga, eight points behind leaders FK Partizan and three adrift of second-placed FK Crvena Zvezda.
'Seriously compete'
"I have been concerned in matches because our defending has been so poor," Obilic coach Ratko Dostanic said. "I have made it clear that we need two experienced, quality defenders and Savic is one of them. Now we can seriously compete in the battle for the title."
