Michaelsen quits Panathinaikos
Former Danish international Jan Michaelsen has rejected the offer of a contract extension from Panathinaikos FC and will instead join Ham-Kam Fotball in the Norwegian Tippeliga. "Jan is a player with great international experience, and we are actually a bit surprised that we got his signature, " said Ham-Kam coach Staale Solbakken.

New deal
West Bromwich Albion FC midfield player Andy Johnson has signed a new two-year contract until 2006. The 30-year-old has been at The Hawthorns since 2001 and was a regular as they won promotion back to the Premiership last season. North of the border, meanwhile, Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC have signed young midfield players Liam Fox and Ian Black, manager John Robertson's first recruits since they clinched promotion to the Scottish Premier League.

Cercle signing
In Belgium, Cercle Brugge KSV have signed Finnish forward Paulus Roiha. The 23-year-old signed a two-year contract, with an option for another year, and joins on a free contract. Roiha was most recently at Dutch side FC Zwolle, whom he joined from FC Utrecht in January. Elsewhere, RAEC Mons have signed Nigerian defender Gballon Ange Kouyo, 20, on a one-year contract from Italian side US Lecce.

Carrilho transfer
De Graafschap have signed left-back Mirano Carrilho on a free transfer. The 29-year-old, who spent last season at ADO Den Haag, joins on a one-year contract, with an option for a second year. "Carrilho is a strong player, who can also support the attack coming down the flank," said Ron Olyslager, technical manager of the newly promoted Eredivisie club.

Jensen joins Randers
In Denmark, Odense BK goalkeeper Martin S Jensen is returning to Randers SK Freja, after losing his place to Arek Onyszko. "My ambition is still to play first-team football. Therefore, I accepted the offer Randers gave me and I am happy things have turned out the way they have," said the 31-year-old.

Permanent moves
Sharlon Pace and Edward Azzopardi have signed for Maltese Premier League side Pietà Hotspurs FC. Both players spent last season on loan at Pietà from Valletta FC and have now completed permanent moves. Kurt Farrugia has, likewise, signed a permanent deal at Valletta, having headed in the opposite direction last summer.
