Mixed news for Udinese

Members

Udinese Calcio's Marek Jankulovski faces three weeks out, while Gonzalo Martinez has not broken his leg.

Marek Jankulovski will be out of action for at least three weeks with the ankle injury which forced him to miss Udinese Calcio's 2-1 win against Internazionale FC at the San Siro last Saturday.

Extent of injury confirmed
The Czech international has undergone a magnetic resonance scan which confirmed the extent of his injury. Jankulovski will now miss the Czech Republic's friendly against Sweden on 20 November. The left-footed midfield player has been capped 19 times, scoring four goals. The 25-year-old has played six matches this season for Udinese.

Martinez relief
Meanwhile, the injury suffered by Udinese's Colombian defender Gonzalo Martinez against Inter is less serious than expected. A scan confirmed that the player has not broken his left leg as was first feared last weekend. Martinez should return to action in two weeks.
