All change in Cyprus

Three Cypriot first division clubs have parted company with their coaches in the space of two days.

Trio of resignations
Kokos Panagi has stood down at lowly Alki Larnaca FC as has Andreas Mouskallis at Ethnikos Achnas FC. They both followed Nicos Andronicou, who resigned at Olympiakos Nicosia FC. The latter left despite guiding his team to fourth in the table, although they are seven points behind leaders APOEL Nicosia FC.

Unhappy departure
Andronicou announced his resignation at a press conference after his side's 3-2 home defeat to Apollon Limassol FC on Sunday evening. The former coach of Doxa Katokopia FC and Enosis Neon Paralimni FC said he was unhappy with the mood in some sectors of the Olympiakos camp as well as what he described as "outside influences who believed his side were a small club".

Relegation battle
Achnas, last season's Cyprus Cup finalists, then saw Mouskallis end his association with the club. The outgoing coach said he felt that the team did not inspire him anymore and asked Achnas chairman Kikis Philipou to accept his resignation. Finally, strugglers Alki, second to last in the league standings with just six points, lost Panagi after he quit following his side's 1-0 defeat away to fellow strugglers Enosis on Saturday.
