Prolific strikeforce
The former Italy Under-21 striker Bonazzoli has scored 15 goals in 76 Serie A matches since making his debut for Brescia Calcio in 1997. However, his path to a first team place at the Ennio Tardini stadium has been blocked by the presence of Adrian Mutu and Adriano, currently the most prolific strikeforce in the top flight with 17 goals between them.
Foreign clubs
The 25-year-old Diana is also a former Italian U21 international and Brescia player. Having played five matches this season, three fewer than Bonazzoli, the right-back will be hoping for increased first-team opportunities at Reggina. The 32-year-old Torrisi has played for Italy once, while turning out for Spanish club Club Atlético de Madrid and French side Olympique de Marseille.
Ninth season
The loss of the trio has been tempered by the arrival at Parma of Pierini. The 30-year-old former Udinese Calcio and AC Fiorentina full-back brings experience to Cesare Prandelli's side, this being his ninth season in Serie A.
