Ronaldinho puts PSG in final

Two Ronaldino goals gave Paris Saint-Germain FC a 2-1 win in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France.

Two goals from Ronaldinho gave Paris Saint-Germain FC a 2-0 victory against FC Girondins de Bordeaux in the semi-final of the Coupe de France.

Opportunist strike
The midfield player, winner of the 2002 FIFA World Cup with Brazil, opened the scoring after 20 minutes, capitalising on a misjudgement from Bordeaux defender Marc Planuis and dribbling past two defenders before shooting beyond goalkeeper Frédéric Roux.

Decisive second
Bordeaux pressed for an equaliser but suffered a major setback ten minutes after half-time as Portuguese defender Marco Caneira was shown a red card for fouling Fabrice Fiorèse when the PSG striker was heading for goal. Ronaldinho then sealed PSG's win ten minutes from full time as he lobbed Roux to send his side through to the final.

Auxerre oppostion
PSG will play AJ Auxerre on 31 May in the Stade de France. Auxerre defeated Stade Rennais FC 2-1 on Saturday, with France international striker Djibril Cissé scoring both goals, the second a minute into added time at the end of the game.
