UEFA is funding two international futsal seminars organized by the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA), which will take place in Europe this year.
The International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) received UEFA's CHF1million (€650,000) charity cheque for 2006, and the UEFA cheque is funding a three-year Blind Futsal development project in Europe
From 3-6 April in Hereford, England, coaches and referees from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland will be invited to attend the seminars at the Royal National College for the Blind in Hereford.
Germany will host a seminar from 3-6 July, and representatives from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Austria will take part. IBSA is currently working to secure venues for two more seminars that will take place during the second half of 2008.
