Javrujan fires Sopron
The former Ferencvárosi TC star led his new side to victory at home to his former club who conceded their first goals of the spring. Zoltán Gera had cancelled out József Somogyi's early goal with a spectacular overhead kick in the first half, but Armenian substitute forward Eugia Javrujan found the net in the 57th minute to grab a win for Sopron.

More misery for MTK
Leaders MTK Hungária FC lost again as Zalaegerszegi TE scored two second-half goals. Former RCD Espanyol midfield player Balázs Molnár broke the deadlock after 50 minutes, heading into the net from Krisztián Kenesei's corner. Kenesei headed a goal himself in the 64th minute to complete the scoring.

Túlio strikes again
Újpesti TE had to settle for a 2-2 draw at home against Vasas SC at the Megyeri úti stadium. Congolese international Franck M'bemba headed an early goal for Vasas SC in the eighth minute but Brazilian international striker Túlio equalised with a powerful strike in the middle of the first half for Újpest. The home-side led after 50 minutes when Czech Republic forward Robert Wagner beat goalkeeper István Kövesfalvi, but there was no time for celebration for Róbert Glázer's team as Hungarian international János Hrutka equalised in the 54th minute for Vasas.

Kispest collapse at home
Igor Nichenko scored twice as Györi ETO FC thrashed Kispest Honvéd FC 4-1 at the Jószef Bozsik stadium. It was Hungarian football-legend Lajos Détári’s side that opened the scoring in the 21th – Béla Kovács netted after Gyor’s keeper Zsolt Sebök's made a mistake. Ukrainian Igor Nichenko equalised for Gyor and everything changed when the visitors were given a penalty just after the break. Károly Szanyó made no mistake from the spot and Nichenko scored his second in the 74th minute before substitute Árpád Gögh made it 4-1 in the stoppage time.

No goals in Dunaújváros
In Saturday's other game, Debreceni VSC earned a point in a 0-0 draw against Dunaferr SE in a match that was hampered by wintery weather.
