Haladás VFC beat Dunaferr SE 3-1 in the Hungarian first division on Friday.
Haladás dominated from the start and took the lead in the 34th minute when Tamás Németh headed the ball into the net from István Szekér's cross. Dunaferr SE equalised just before the break when new signing Ivan Balasko netted from 20 metres with an impressive strike. In the second half Németh restored Haladás's advantage with a header after Sándor Preisinger's effort hit the crossbar. Preisinger scored a goal himself late on to make it 3-1.
In the day's other NB. 1 game Györi ETO FC beat Újpesti TE 3-2. Zsolt Tamási's side took the lead in the 28th minute when Slovakian striker Robert Semenik headed the ball in from close range from Brazilian André's cross.
Újpest equalised on 44 minutes with a fine goal from Tibor Tokody and took the lead early in the second period when Gyõri goalkeeper Zsolt Sebõk punched the ball straight to Robert Vagner who finished with ease. Former Újpest player Károly Szanyó equalised for Gyõri in the 58th minute before Ukrainian forward Igor Nichenko capped a fine comeback with the winner.
