'Further honours'
Di Lello, who will turn 31 in March, previously played in Malta with Pietà Hotspurs FC and Sliema Wanderers FC and has now returned to the Island. "I have joined Birkirkara, because they are a big club," he said. "I am looking forward to giving my very best for them, to establishing myself in the team and to helping them win further honours this season. Malta has a very special place in my heart and I love the island." Birkirkara are third in the Maltese table, eight points adrift of leaders Hibernians FC but with a game in hand.
