Yngve Hallén has been voted in as the new president of the Football Association of Norway (NFF) until 2012 at the association's general assembly.
"I am really looking forward to the challenges I have in front of me. I have got the trust of the organisation to do an important job for football in Norway. I am looking forward to working together with the clubs," said Hallén, who is 41 and a trained teacher with experience in politics. "I know that I am comparatively young as a president, but I will use mentors in my work, especially when it comes to international relations."
