The Polish Football Association have relegated Zagłębie Łubin to the second division for corruption and match fixing during their promotion season of 2003/04.

Zagłębie Łubin have been relegated to the Polish second division for corruption and match fixing.

Relegation and fine
The Polish Football Association (PZPN) also fined the 2006/07 Ekstraklasa champions €20,000 for their part in the scandal which took place four years ago during the season the club won promotion to the top flight. Zagłębie – who finished fifth in this year's championship – will have two weeks to appeal against the decision of the PZPN's disciplinary body whose chairman, Adam Gilarsk, said: "Zagłębie suggested a punishment of minus 15 points and a fine of €145,000 but we decided to relegate the club."
