Cosmin Olaroiu has taken charge of FC National Bucuresti, replacing Walter Zenga who has become technical director.

FC National Bucuresti have reappointed Cosmin Olaroiu as coach in succession to Walter Zenga, who has a new role at the Romanian club.

New roles
Former Italian international Zenga has moved upstairs to become technical director, co-ordinating the youth scheme as well as supporting Olaroiu, who will also continue to act as general manager.

Cup final
Olaroiu guided National to second place in the first division in 2001/02 before giving way to Zenga, whose team reached last season's Romanian Cup final. They are currently 15th in the table having secured three points from four games.
