Petkov seals CSKA move

Bulgarian champions PFC CSKA Sofia have signed their former trainee Emil Petkov from PFC Marek Dupnitsa.

Bulgarian champions PFC CSKA Sofia, who trail league leaders PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv by two points at the winter break, have continued to strengthen their squad ahead of the second half of the season by signing their former trainee Emil Petkov from PFC Marek Dupnitsa.

Sakaliev failure
Right-sided midfield player Petkov was sold to Marek three years ago and has returned on a two-and-a-half year contract. Meanwhile after failing to sign Bulgarian international forward Stoiko Sakaliev from PFC Naftex Burgas, CSKA have recalled Gerasim Zakov from his loan spell at PFC Vidima-Rakovski.
