Third-time lucky for Wlodarczyk

Legia Warszawa have surprisingly signed SPN Widzew Lódz striker Piotr Wlodarczyk for a third time.

Legia Warszawa have paid SPN Widzew Lódz €90,000 to buy out striker Piotr Wlodarczyk's contract.

One cap
The 26-year-old, who made his only international appearance for Poland in 1999, has had two spells with Legia in the past, scoring three goals in 32 league games in 1997 and 1998. Successful stints at KS Ruch Chorzów and Slask Wroclaw earned Wlodarczyk a move to AJ Auxerre, although he was unable to win a place in the starting lineup at the French club and joined Widzew in 2002/03.

Legia in third
Wlodarczyk, who scored 14 goals in 41 games for Widzew, has signed a contract until June 2006 with third-place Legia.
