CSKA sign Nigerian youngster

PFC CSKA Moskva coach Artur Jorge has strengthened in defence by signing FC Sheriff Tiraspol's Chidi Odiah.

Russian champions PFC CSKA Moskva have continued their close-season signing spree by landing Nigerian Under-21 international Chidi Odiah.

First African
The 20-year-old defender impressed CSKA scouts while playing for Moldovan champions FC Sheriff Tiraspol and becomes the club's first African-born player. CSKA have made a number of high-profile signings this winter, including Russian internationals Sergey Ignashevitch and Eugeni Aldonin, as well as appointing a new coach in the Portuguese Artur Jorge.
