Železnik sign Brazilian duo

Ronaldo Aparecido Viana and Gefferson da Silva Goulart have signed for ambitious FK Železnik.

Ronaldo Aparecido Viana and Gefferson da Silva Goulart have become the first Brazilians to sign for ambitious Serbo-Montenegrin club FK Železnik.

Similar mentality
The duo have signed one-and-a-half year contracts and join from Point Lisas Trinidad FC in their homeland. "It is always difficult to go away from home, but it is also part of our job," said Viana. "The football mentality in Serbia and Montenegro is close to the Brazilian [mentality] which makes it easier to integrate ourselves.

'We will do our best'
"Železnik are very close to the top clubs and the goal is qualification for the UEFA Cup," he added. "We will do our best to represent Brazilian football in the best possible manner.".

Trophy aim
Beside the two Brazilians, Železnik have also signed defender Nikola Jozic from AJ Auxerre while forward Petar Sopov and midfield player Aleksandar Stajkovac have left the club. "We have a team that can win trophies," said Železnik coach Mile Tomic, whose side are currently fourth in the table.
