Tomás Matejcek has been appointed coach of Swiss side FC Wil 1900 following the retirement of Joachim Müller.

Fifth coach this season
According to the club, the 44-year-old is contracted until the end of the season. Matejcek left the helm of Czech side SFC Opava in October, and becomes Wil's fifth coach this season following Martin Andermatt, Hans-Peter Meier, Alexander Savarov and Müller.

Savic signs
Wil are only one place and one point off the bottom of the ten-team Swiss top-flight, but have boosted their survival hopes with the signing of former FC Basel 1893 and Grasshopper-Club midfield player Nenad Savic from FC Luzern for the rest of the season.
