Oliseh released by Bochum

VfL Bochum 1848 have parted company with on-loan midfield player Sunday Oliseh.
VfL Bochum 1848 have parted company with on-loan midfield player Sunday Oliseh after an incident with team-mate Vahid Hashemian following Saturday's goalless draw with FC Hansa Rostock.

Loan signing
The 29-year-old Nigerian, whose performances for Bochum had prompted talk of a permanent switch from BV Borussia Dortmund, was involved in a row with Hashemian during the match. The dispute continued after the final whistle when Oliseh headbutted Hashemian in the changing room, breaking his nose.

Released from contract
A Bochum statement said: "Sunday Oliseh has been released from his duties at Bochum. The reasons are connected to the aftermath of the home match against Hansa Rostock. As employers we do not wish to reveal any more details at this time." The former AFC Ajax and Juventus FC player has been with Bochum since joining them on an 18-month loan in January 2003.
