Tiago Cardoso and Armando Sa are the latest players to join the Portuguese giants, both signing four-and-a-half-year contracts. The pair arrived from SC Braga just before the closure of the winter transfer window.
Sa, a 26-year-old right-back from Mozambique, was stunned by the move. He admitted: “I’m still shaking and my feet aren't yet on the ground. I hope I can work well, do my best and win the coach’s confidence.”
Ambitious midfield player Tiago added: “Three years ago I wouldn’t have thought about this, but now I’m here at the top I want to make the Portuguese national team.”
