Italy round-up: Chievo condemn Lazio to defeat

AC Chievo Verona's remarkable season continued with a 3-1 win over S.S. Lazio.

AC Chievo Verona came from behind to record an impressive 3-1 Serie A win over S.S. Lazio on Wednesday.

Early goal
Despite conceding a goal to Claudio López in the seventh minute, Chievo - who had collected just four points from their previous five games - produced an impressive second-half display to secure the win that leaves them in fourth place, seven points behind leaders AS Roma

Corini double
Massimo Marazzina volleyed home Chievo's equaliser a minute after the interval following Eugenio Corini's cross from the right. Corini himself made it 2-1 in the 78th minute and the same player put the game beyond Lazio by converting a penalty three minutes from time.
