Hajto swaps Schalke for Nürnberg

News round-up: FC Schalke 04 defender Tomasz Hajto will join 1. FC Nürnberg in the summer on a free transfer.

Two-year contract
The 31-year-old Polish international Tomasz Hajto had a year remaining on his Schalke deal, but instead will join Nürnberg on a two-year contract with the option of a further year. Nürnberg have already signed Ivica Banovic, Daniel Klewer, Marcel Ketelaer and Maik Wagefeld in preparation for their return to the Bundesliga.

Sebescen setback
Bayer 04 Leverkusen winger Zoltan Sebescen has undergone knee surgery after a setback in his long fitness battle. The 28-year-old has been sidelined for almost two years with a combination of knee problems and today had an operation on his left knee which had become swollen. Sebescen had just returned to Klaus Augenthaler's squad when he was diagnosed with water on the knee.

Brady staying on
Englishman Garry Brady has signed a new two-year contract at Dundee FC. The midfield player's previous contract expired at the end of this season but he will now stay with the Scottish Premier League club.
