RAA Louviéroise boosted their Jupiler League survival hopes with a 3-1 win against KAA Gent on Friday night.

Visitors shocked
Gent took the lead through Hozny but an impressive three-goal salvo by the hosts shocked their high-flying visitors. Yves Buelinckz equalised on 35 minutes and two minutes later Emanuel Karagiannis gave Louviéroise the lead. An 94th-minute Frédéric Tilmant goal completed a highly satisfactory night for the home side.

Gent still fourth
The result means that Gent stay fourth, nine points behind leaders Club Brugge KV, while Louviéroise rose three places to 14th.
