Albania round-up: Tirana leave it late

SK Tirana stayed top of the Liga e Pare with an injury-time victory over KS Vllaznia on Saturday.

SK Tirana retained their place at the Liga e Pare summit after a dramatic injury-time victory over KS Vllaznia on Saturday.

Bulku bonus
With second-placed KS Dinamo Tirana comfortable 4-1 winners at home to KF Lushnja, three points were vital for Tirana and they snatched them in injury time through Sokol Bulku's strike.

Dinamo drive on
Dinamo had no such problems, racing into a three-goal lead with strikes from Redi Jupi, Ulian Ahmataj and Daniel Xhafa. Artan Bano pulled a goal back for the visitors but Xhafa added his second three minutes from time.

Spoils shared
Elsewhere, third-placed KS Partizani and fourth-placed KS Teuta shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw. KS Erzeni moved away from the relegation zone with a 2-1 win at home to KS Besëlidhja and KS Flamurtari narrowly saw off bottom club Luftëtari with a 1-0 victory.

Tomori on the up
Meanwhile, KS Tomori increased their chances of survival with a 1-0 win of their own, at home to KS Bylis, while struggling KS Apolonia remain in trouble after going down 2-0 against KS Shkumbini.
