Israel round-up: Valuable point for Beitar

Beitar Jerusalem gained a valuable point with a goalless draw with against Maccabi Tel-Aviv.

Beitar Jerusalem gained a valuable point in their battle against relegation following a goalless draw with high-flying Maccabi Tel-Aviv on Monday night.

Draw not enough
The draw was not enough to lift Beitar off the bottom of the Israeli first division and they remain one point adrift of Maccabi Kiriat-Gat.
Maccabi meanwhile, are in third place, 14 points behind Maccabi Haifa.
