Albacete recruit Rubén

News round-up: Real Madrid CF central defender Rubén González has joined Albacete Balompié on loan.
Real Madrid CF central defender Rubén González has joined Albacete Balompié on loan for the forthcoming season. The 22-year-old made two appearances for Madrid last season before joining VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach on loan for the second half of the campaign. However, he returned to Madrid early after suffering a shoulder injury.

Domi moves
RCD Espanyol have signed French full-back Didier Domi from Paris Saint-Germain FC on a two-year contract. The 26 year-old has had two spells abroad previously, in the English Premiership with Newcastle United FC and Leeds United AFC.

Come in No6
Levante UD have sealed the €700,000 transfer of midfield player Diego Camacho from RC Recreativo de Huelva. The 27-year-old has signed a four-year contract and becomes the sixth new signing for coach Bernd Schuster following the arrivals of Ian Harte, Nacho Pérez, Juanma, Johan Mjällby and José Antonio Culebras.

Calado loaned out
Real Betis Balompié have loaned midfield player Jóse Antonio Calado to CD Numancia for the coming season. Calado, who spent last season on loan at second division Club Polideportivo Ejido, could line up against his former employers when Numancia meet Betis on the season's opening weekend.

Keown to Leicester
Former Arsenal FC and England defender Martin Keown has joined first division Leicester City FC. The 37-year-old was released by Arsenal at the end of last season after eleven seasons at Highbury. Leicester have also signed Republic of Ireland striker David Connolly from West Ham United FC. Finally, AIK Solna defender Jimmy Tamandi has left the club for Italian Serie B side Salernitana. The 24-year old has signed a three-year deal and will join up with his former AIK team-mate Karl Corneliusson at the Italian club.
