Arango wings his way to Mallorca

RCD Mallorca have signed Venezuela left winger Juan Fernando Arango from Mexican side Puebla CF.

RCD Mallorca have signed Venezuelan international left winger Juan Fernando Arango from Mexican side Puebla CF.

Copa América
The 24-year-old recently represented his country at the Copa América, playing in all three of Venezuela's fixtures in Peru. Arango scored eight times in 36 league matches last season, his first at Puebla having previously played for fellow Mexican sides CF Monterrey and Pachuca CF in addition to his hometown club, Caracas FC.

Floro first
The Venezuelan has signed a one-year contract with the option of a further three seasons. Arango is new Mallorca coach Benito Floro's first signing, the two having first come into contact at Monterrey. Mallorca chairman Mateu Alemany said: "The coach knows the player inside out from his time in Mexico. The player was also a free agent so it's a perfect signing for us."
