Brazilian striker Ricardo Oliveira has joined Real Betis Balompié from Valencia CF for around €4m.

Five-year deal
The player has signed a five-year contract with the Seville club, with the option of a further two seasons. Betis had originally hoped to arrange a loan move for the 24-year-old but both Valencia and Oliveira preferred a permanent transfer.

Valencia double
Oliveira came to the Mestalla last summer from Brazilian side Santos FC, arriving in time to make 21 appearances as Valencia won the Primera División and UEFA Cup titles. He scored eight goals.
