The game was rescheduled from 7 April when the Central Stadium in Mtskheta was flooded. Gianni Carnevali's side played poorly but were saved when Levan Melkadze, who recently returned from a loan spell with AC Siena in Italy's Serie B, was on target with three minutes left. Georgi Peikrishvili crossed for Vladimir Goachshvili, who headed the ball on to Melkadze to finish.
