Second-placed Arsenal FC posted an eighth straight victory, Aston Villa FC took a big step towards Premier League safety, with bottom side Leicester City FC the other big winners.

Arsenal FC climb within four points of leaders Chelsea FC by edging Burnley FC 1-0 in Lancashire.
• Aaron Ramsey's 12th-minute effort seals Gunners' eighth straight win; Burnley still second bottom.
• Christian Benteke registers fifth goal in three games to earn Aston Villa FC 1-0 success against Tottenham Hotspur FC at White Hart Lane.


• While Villa move 15th, Sunderland AFC crash 4-1 at home to Crystal Palace FC; Yannick Bolasie hits 12-minute hat-trick.
• Bottom club Leicester City FC claim 3-2 comeback win at West Bromwich Albion FC, Jamie Vardy the last-gasp hero.
Hull City AFC are fourth bottom after losing 2-0 at Southampton FC who go fifth; Graziano Pellè ends goal drought.
Everton FC draw 1-1 at Swansea City AFC in early kick-off, Jonjo Shelvey with the equaliser.
