Early red
Although visitors Vasas were reduced to ten men early on after the referee sent off defender János Hrutka, the Budapest team were the first team to score. Former Hungarian international striker Zoltán Váczi finding the net in the 14th minute from a 25-metre free-kick.
 
Three in the second half

Sopron equalised right after the break when Mihály Tóth headed the ball in following a corner. Four minutes later young midfield player Attila Polonkai scored restored Vasas’s lead after Hungarian international Norbert Tóth's pass. Yet refusing to give up, Sopron equalised again when Ákos Csiszár headed in after a free-kick just before the final whistle.
