László Molnár has replaced Róbert Glázer as coach of the Hungarian first division club Újpesti TE.

Cup success
Glázer left the club despite leading them to a dramatic victory in the Hungarian Cup final last season when Újpest's Robert Vagner scored the winner in the final minute of extra time. Újpest also finished sixth in the NB. 1.

First division move
Molnár, who won one cap for Czechoslovakia and 25 for Slovakia, was a goalkeeper as a player with AŠK Inter Bratislava and ŠK Slovan Bratislava. He has coached Banska Bystrica and Senec in the Slovakian second division.
