Switzerland round-up: Unbeaten Grasshoppers in charge

Grasshopper-Club maintained their 100 per cent record with a 2-0 win over Servette FC on Saturday.

Grasshopper-Club maintained their 100 per cent record with a 2-0 victory over Servette FC tonight.

Castillo opener
The win, Grasshopper's fourth of the season, came thanks largely to two second-half strikes. After a tight first period, Pascal Castillo struck the first after 53 minutes with Ricardo Cabanas wrapping up the win in the 72nd minute.

Basel victorious
FC Basel also remain unbeaten after waiting until late in their match against SR Delémont to secure a single-goal victory. After 80 minutes of sparring with Delémont, Christian Gimenez snatched the only goal of the game.

First for Barnetta
FC St Gallen were 1-0 winners at FC Thun, thanks to Tranquilla Barnetta's first ever professional goal, while FC Aarau beat Neuchâtel Xamax FC 2-0. Elvir Melunovic broke the deadlock for Aarau in the 59th minute and Patrick De Napoli erased all Neuchâtel's comeback hopes with a second strike in the dying moments.
