Ambitious Bulgarian Premier League side PFC Cherno More have made another signing in the shape of goalkeeper Zdravko Zdravkov from Turkish club Istanbulspor AS.
The Bulgarian international No1 returns to his native land after five years in Turkey. He moved to Istanbulspor AS after being spotted at PFC Slavia Sofia. He spent four years in the Turkish capital before spending a year with Adansapor AS. He has been capped more than 30 times by Bulgaria, and was part of their squad in the 1998 FIFA World Cup finals, playing in all three matches.
Cherno More narrowly avoided relegation last season, but are aiming for a top three finish in 2002/03 under new coach Velislav Vutsov. Zdravkov, who has agreed a one-year contract, links up with fellow new signings Marin Petrov, Kosyo Mircev Ivaylo Petev, Stefan Yurukov and former international defender Adalber Zafirov.
They begin their league campaign on 10 August at home against PFC Levski Sofia.
