Dalla Bona set for Sampdoria

Serie A side UC Sampdoria have signed midfield player Samuele Dalla Bona on loan from AC Milan.

'Big honour'
The 24-year-old former Chelsea FC player scored six goals in 36 Serie A games on loan at US Lecce last season. "Playing for Sampdoria will be a big honour for me," said Dalla Bona, who has also had a spell at Bologna FC since joining Milan in 2002.

Fourth new face
Sampdoria qualified for the UEFA Cup after finishing fifth in Serie A. Dalla Bona is the Genoa club's fourth summer signing after the arrivals of Lamberto Zauli, Marco Borriello and Luigi Sala.
