Sabani steps down at Sloga

FK Sloga Jugomagnat coach Nedzat Sabani has resigned following Wednesday’s 0-0 draw with FK Cementarnica 55.

Nedzat Sabani, coach of FK Sloga Jugomagnat, has resigned following Wednesday’s 0-0 draw with FK Cementarnica 55 in the Macedonian First League.

Zekiri takes over
The new coach of the three-time league champions is Adnan Zekiri. The 50-year-old enjoyed a long playing career with the likes of FK Rabotnicki, FK Vardar and Sloga, whom he has also previously coached. Zekiri's first game in charge is against FK Kumanovo tomorrow.

Sloga's slow start
Sloga have suffered a series of poor results so far this season, and are currently bottom of the table with eight points and only one victory to their name. Sources within the club said that Zekiri will be in charge until the end of the season, with avoiding relegation his first aim.
