Serbian champions FK Crvena Zvezda have signed Bulgarian international Blagoy Georgiev on a three-year contract.

'Big challenge'
The 24-year-old midfielder joins from PFC Slavia Sofia, having spent the second part of the 2005/06 season on loan with Spanish side Deportivo Alavés. "Coming to Red Star is a big challenge for me," Georgiev said. "But I am sure I will have no problems adapting, given the similarities between Bulgaria and Serbia."
