Miserdovski shown the door

Cypriot side Apollon Limassol FC have cancelled the contract of Zoran Miserdovski.

Cypriot first division side Apollon Limassol FC have cancelled the contract of F.Y.R. Macedonian international Zoran Miserdovski after a disappointing start to the campaign.

Miserly form
The 27-year-old attacking midfielder's form has mirrored that of his team, with the Limassol club lying sixth in the table, nine points off the lead. Miserdovski, a hero at his former club FK Sloga Jugomagnat, impressed after arriving in Cyprus last season but has managed just one goal this term.

Foreigners struggle
He is the second foreign player to leave a Division A club this week following the departure from Anorthosis Famagusta FC of Polish international Mariusz Piekarski.
