SK Sturm Graz missed the chance to go second when they lost 2-1 at SV Austria Salzburg on Wednesday.

SK Sturm Graz missed the chance to go second in the Austrian Bundesliga when they lost 2-1 at SV Austria Salzburg tonight.

Brenner and Friedl score
Ewald Brenner gave Salzburg the lead after 58 minutes and Jürgen Friedl doubled the advantage eight minutes later. Günther Neukirchner pulled a goal back for Sturm in the 74th minute but his side failed to find an equaliser.

Wien still lead
The win moves Salzburg up one place to sixth on 27 points, while Sturm are still third on 33 points, 13 behind runaway leaders FK Austria Wien.
